We, RQ Citizens Disaster Relief Network Japan, were formed on March 13, 2011, to provide assistance for people affected by the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake.

Since then, for nearly nine months, we continued our relief operations accepting volunteers and relief supplies until November 30, 2011. We sincerely thank you who came to provide assistance in disaster hit areas and who sent us relief supplies and relief funds. We cannot express our gratitude enough to you; what your support meant to people devastated and how much encouragement your support gave to those people.

We, RQ, have completed our missions and closed our doors as a disaster relief volunteer organization.

However, each volunteer center was reborn as an independent organization to provide long-term support in disaster hit areas. Each center will manage its own funding and operate independently.

We still want to keep strong ties with you. The new organizations will need and request for volunteers, supplies, and funding, and we would appreciate your continuous support for each organization.

We would like to thank you again.

We wish you a happy new year and hope 2012 brings you happiness, health, and prosperity.
